Deb and family, It is evident that Steve touched so many people in a such a unique way that any thoughts of him come from a special place reserved only for a few. You are an amazing family and it is not suprising that you and Steve found each other. He cherished this, never failed to share this with his friends in every venue he was involved in. (Band Practice, Boating, Working, General Conversation) Through his amazing musical talent and feel that came from his soul deep within, this left an impression on all that ever had the opportunity to experience him. I was personally awstruck by this. He was the most humble person I have ever known who always greeted me as if we hadn't seen each other for years. He always had that perpetual smile a hand shake and a story or some news to share and told it with a passion that came from deep within. I believe of all his special ways .. I will miss that the most. I am so grateful to have had him in my life. God Bless you all and God Bless Steve. Love you all

We were all shocked to see this tragic loss. Steve was a longtime and loyal customer of Best Tile. He was a true craftsman and genious tile installer. We loved his upbeat attitude and always had a good story. Steve was an awesome musician and knew how to rock the crowd. We will miss him immensely and send our prayers to the family. There will be music in Heaven and Steve will be there. May the Good Lord guide him and also his wife and childern. God Bless you Steve...we will miss you always. I'm deeply sorry for the untimely loss we're all grieving as Steve slipped beyond the veil into the presence of God. He was a huge part of my life in my formidable years and I'll be forever grateful for the great times we shared. My only regret is that I passed up the opportunity for personal and free guitar lessons from him when I was 13 years old. I could sure use the skill now that I'm in the ministry. My prayer for you all is that the peace of God will carry you through this valley until the joy of the LORD is restored to you. Hab 3:19 The Lord God is my strength, and he makes my feet like roes’ feet, guiding me on my high places. For the chief music-maker on corded instruments. The Worship team in Heaven just gained an awesomely talented new member.

To Debbie,Josh and Jess. I feel your pain. I have lost my oldest and most dearest friend. My heart goes out to you.I've known Steve nearly 40 years and always kept in touch. Besides being the guitar great he is and what an honor being on stage with him, he and I shared so many life experiences together. He was a father/brother to me. Always there. I was so happy for him with Debbie for he was living his dream with her and their home and boat. Steve will dearly be missed.

Thoughts and prayers to Steve's family and close friends...a sad time indeed. We will miss Steve's great tone, dynamics, and his uncanny ability to find genius alternate guitar lines for our original compositions. I occasionally reflect on the great music and inspiration that we shared with Steve and how he brought our music to new heights - his spirit is forever a part of us.

Debbie and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was a wonderful man, husband, and father. I remember giving you and him my dog and at first he did not want her but then after a while he loved her and you told me that he would always buy her a treat or bandana every time you two would go to the store. That was the type of person he was, very loving. Please know that he, you, and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Colleen F.
